Born in Springfield, IL and raised outside Chicago, Seth grew up
with a solid mix of mid-western roots and artistic
inspiration from The “Windy City.”
At the ripe age of five,
Seth was singing songs on the swing-set in the backyard and
putting on puppet shows in the living room. Eventually, he began
organizing community productions with the neighborhood kids;
designing sets, costumes, lighting and insisting that patrons be
charged the full ticket price of $0.25; to cover expenses naturally.
Realizing it was time to step in, his folks sought out a way to
channel such creative instincts and soon Seth began taking classes
at
The School for the Performing Arts in Naperville, IL and
was seen in over
15 productions with “Only A Stage”; a non-
for-profit company committed to providing quality
theatrical opportunities for children of all ages.
The
highlight of Seth’s high-school days was playing
Tony in “West
Side Story”
during the Illinois Allstate Theatre Fest in 2001.

As a young adult Seth continued training for a career in theater. In
2001 he was accepted into
NYU’s CAP21 Summer Musical
Theatre Intensive
and got a sneak peek of the type of collegiate-
level training he would endeavor to study the following year. After
auditioning for several top national Musical Theatre programs, Seth
quickly accepted the offer from his top choice, the prestigious
U
niversity of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music
(CCM).
CCM, with it’s notoriously demanding curriculum and
outstanding reputation in the industry
, crafted Seth’s skill set
and challenged him in more ways than he could have imaged.
Among his many accomplishments at CCM, Seth received the
Earl
Wrightson Scholarship Award for Best Supporting Actor as
Lank Hawkins in “Crazy For You.”

After graduating magna cum laude in 2006, Seth was itching
to get to work. His first professional job was in the
2006 Summer-
Stock Season at “Lyric Theatre” in Oklahoma City
where he
received his
Actor’s Equity Association (AEA) Membership
for his performance in “Cabaret.” Upon returning to NY in the fall
of the same year, Seth was again back on the road, this time
playing
Bobby Strong in Stage One (City-Rep) of Wichita’s
production of Urinetown, The Musical
; for which his
performance received numerous praise and recognition.

After the final curtain call on Urinetown, Seth began a tremendous
journey as an
original company member of The 1st National
Tour of the Tony-Award winning Musical, “Avenue Q”
in
June, 2007.  For over 2 years Seth travelled the country playing
with puppets in this fantastic production.
For a kid who grew up
on “Sesame Street” & “The Muppet Show” it was a true
dream come true.

But there's more!  After the tour concluded in the Spring of 2009,
Seth made his
Broadway Debut in the Avenue Q Ensemble on
June 15, 2009 and
Broadway Debut in a Lead Role
(Princeton/Rod)
on July 9, 2009!

The audience who attended the September 13, 2009 Broadway
Closing were delighted to learn the show was moving
Off
Broadway!

Seth was honored to join many of his friends and cast members
Off Broadway, continuing to play the lead role of "Princeton/Rod"
for nearly 1 year, departing the show in September 2010 to pursue
future opportunities.

Seth lives in NYC and you may find him exploring the city, catching
up with friends and looking forward to the next exciting opportunity
that comes his way.
